Warm water underfloor heating is a highly effective and efficient method of heating that is suitable for a wide range of projects, whether a new build property, renovation or single area.
The benefits of underfloor heating:
- Highly efficient – Warm water UFH uses far lower flow temperatures than a traditional radiator system, and because it covers a much larger surface area it is still able to heat the room effectively. For this reason, UFH is around 25% more efficient than an equivalent radiator system.
- Perfectly suited to open plan living – UFH is an ‘invisible’ heating system as the tube is hidden beneath the floor. This frees up precious wall space, ideal for open plan living and rooms such as kitchens where space is at a premium.
- Safe – UFH has no exposed hot or sharp edges – a safe option for young children and the elderly. It is also a good choice for allergy sufferers or anyone with asthma as the warmth provided is free from draughts and dust movements that can aggravate these conditions.
- Luxuriously comfortable – With UFH, the heat gently emits upwards from the floor. This gives the luxurious feel of warm feet and a cool head without any cold spots or draughts common with radiator systems. UFH also warms any usually cold floor coverings, such as tiles or engineered wood
There are three main types of systems i.e. Over-floor, Between joist and Under screed.
Normally installed in residential and commercial new build properties including new extensions.
Aluminium faced systems for new, existing and joist floors. This system is installed over an existing surface such as concrete, tiled or wooden floors and minimises any upheaval.
These systems are perfect for older properties with wooden joisted floors or in the upper floors of properties. It is installed between the joists to allow carpets or laminate flooring to be laid on top with no loss of head room.

We work in partnership with the country’s most respected manufacturers of underfloor heating and are able to offer our systems at a very competitive price.
Air Source Heat Pumps use well established technology and are constantly being improved and they represent one of the most important sources of alternative energy for business and households.
Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) use pipes which are buried in the earth to extract heat from the ground.
Mechanical Ventilation With Heat Recovery
Poor air quality is a growing problem, Nuaire’s unique paper core helps overcome this by efficiently recovering heat from rejected, stale air to heat or cool incoming fresh air.
A positive input ventilation unit is an extremely low cost dampness and mold in your home.

Renewable Heat Incentive
The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (Domestic RHI) is a government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat.
SGS Energy have been supplying and fitting Gas Boilers for many years and during the time have seen them become significantly more efficient and user friendly.
Solar PV &
One of the pitfalls of installing a Solar PV array was that often you couldn’t use the maximum amount of electrical energy you were generating, which was usually in the middle of the day.
