This situation has now changed dramatically because you now have the opportunity harness the sun’s energy and store it in batteries for use when you most need it, usually during the evening or night time when the solar panels will not function, allowing you to consume up to 85% of the electricity generated, reducing your dependence on grid supplied electricity.

You will still receive the feed in tariff payments and the payment for the amount that is deemed that you will export to the grid, providing an even greater financial benefit. In effect being paid for the electricity you use!
It can be retrofitted onto existing systems, or form part of a completely new Solar powered generating and storage package.
The rapid development of lithium-ion batteries that are used in mobile phones and electric vehicles is what has led to the opportunity to exploit this technology and is forecast for explosive growth in the coming years.
